FLYING ENIGMA (BAG DESIGN)







1. THE EMPHASIS OF MY DESIGN IS ALL OF THE UFO'S THAT ARE LOCATED AROUND THE BAG. I MAKE THIS EASY TO SEE BY PLACING A GLOW AROUND THE UFO'S MAKING IT EASY TO SEE THEM.
2.THE UFO'S ARE ALSO THE ELEMENT THAT IS LEADING THE VIEWER AROUND THE BAG. THEY ARE PLACED IN A PATH THAT LEADS THE EYES ALL AROUND THE BAG.
3. A DESIGN IDEA THAT MADE MY PROJECT UNIQUE WAS THE WAY THAT I TOOK TWO WORDS THAT WERE AN OPTION TO DO THE PROJECT ON AND INSTEAD OF CHOOSING ONE I COMBINED THEM AND CHOSE BOTH. THE PHRASE BECAME FLYING ENIGMA.
4. MY DESIGN DESCRIBES THE PHRASE THE I USED BECAUSE THE OBJECT OF FOCUS, OR EMPHASIS, IS A FLYING OBJECT THAT IS PUZZLING TO MOST PEOPLE. UFO'S ARE SOMETHING THAT IS PUZZLING TO MANY PEOPLE, SO THEY PERFECTLY DESCRIBE A FLYING ENIGMA

COLOR: THE COLOR OF THE BACKGROUND IS A LIGHT PINK, WHICH IS OFTEN A SIGN OF CALMNESS
SIZE: THE WORDS ARE SIZED SMALL AND SMALLER, AS WELL AS LOWERCASE
REPITION: THE WORD QUIET IS REPEATED... ONCE IT IS BIGGER, BUT LOWERCASE AND ANOTHER TIME IT IS SMALLER AND LOWERCASE
SPACING: THE WORDS ON THE PAGE ARE SPREAD OUT THROUGHOUT THE PAGE, LEAVING LOTS OF NEGATIVE SPACE

COLORS DESIGN
EMPHASIS: The swirled flower patterned shape in the bottom center of the design. 
THEME: This design relates to my theme of chaos because of the amount of action that is going on within. There are lines and shapes of all sizes, widths, and color that make for a complex and chaotic design.

PATTERNS DESIGN
EMPHASIS: The black quarter circle in the bottom left corner of the page.
THEME: This design relates to the theme because of the complexity of the design.  Al l of the different patterns in the background make for a very complex, and maybe confusing design.

THE GRADIENT/FILL/SHAPES DESIGN
EMPHASIS: The white star in this design is the emphasis.
THEME: This design relates to the theme of my book because of everything that is going on. You have color variation, lines going all over the place, and random shapes that make the design slightly chaotic. 

THE FINAL FINAL LINE DESIGN
EMPHASIS:In this design the emphasis is the swirls that are reaching out from the bottom of the page.    
THEME:The design relates to my them because there is so much going on it gets to  the point where it is  very chaotic. This design has multiple lines and swirls and color variations that it gets very complicated and somewhat hard to follow.
